Carpenter. The sustained dread of a good synth score trumps any party playlist for true atmosphere.

i've found several items on youtube that are 1-hour+ ambient sound items, often of a gothic nature. dark synth-wave is something i don't know a lot about but it's sort of cool, from what i've heard so far on youtube and elsewhere. as for my playlist preferences, i love a good mix of Halloween party songs with an occasional ambient style piece thrown in.
